After the long dreary winter, there’s little in this world more refreshing than the bright pops of color and light that spring brings. The vernal equinox has come and gone, and if you aren’t already turned towards spring cleaning and freshening up your house, you’ll likely get there soon.
If you’re looking for ways to change up your décor to reflect the weather outside, you may be thinking of painting or new furniture, but you don’t have to take it that far. You don’t even really need to change out the artwork in your home. You can add a lot of lightness and airiness to your home by simply changing out dark, rich frames for lighter, springier versions. Here are our favorite frames for spring:
- 2” White- The thickness of this bold white frame can completely flip the look of your artwork or family photos. Exchanging a black or brown frame for this one can bring a hefty dose of brightness to any room.
- 1 ¼” Yellow- There is little that says spring more than a bright, dandelion yellow, and this frame has a whole lot of yellow to offer. Pair it with an existing black and white photo in your home if you’re worried about color clashes.
- 2.125” Silver- While metallic can sometimes seem a little stuffy, the bright reflective nature of this frame can bring light into your home. Pastels in shades of green and purple look fantastic with silver!
- 1 ¼” Blonde Maple- This light wood frame is sleek and modern, yet still earthy in its tone. Replace any dark wood or black frame with it for an airier feel.
Whichever of these frames you choose, you’re sure to add the peaceful light of spring to your home. If you need more frame ideas to spruce up your spring décor, check out our Facebook page.
