Do you know what you’re going to get your dad, husband, grandpa, uncle, or other influential male figure for Father’s Day this year?

Men can be tough to buy for. It means that we often times fall into the same patterns when shopping for the men in our lives. For example, some people find themselves buying a ball cap or fishing tackle every single year because they know their male figure likes those, but how many ball caps could one guy really need?

This year, switch it up and get your dad a great framed gift. What framed gift could a dad possibly like, you may ask. There are plenty of framed gifts that almost any dad would love to hang, whether it be in the main living space, the bedroom, or in his office or man cave. Here are a couple ideas for things you could frame to make a unique Father’s Day gift for your dad:

  • Something Funny- If your dad has a great sense of humor, a humorous photograph of you and/or your siblings or a funny phrase in a nice handwritten typography (you can hire this process out if you’re not much of an artist) would be perfect.
  • Something Meaningful- That could be a photograph of his childhood home, his favorite vacation spot, or a long lost photograph of someone special to him.
  • Something Sporty- Frame up a shot of his favorite golf course, a photo of his favorite sports star (with bonus points for an autograph), a jersey, or some other piece of sports memorabilia (a copy of the original rules of basketball, for instance).

What kind of frame should you use to make a gift that will appeal to a dad’s taste? Here are a couple of our favorite frames for dads:
